So he left last Wednesday. It has been ONE week. Here's what happened since he left
Day1-Nothing too exciting. SSDD. Same routine with the kids. School, pick up from school, lunch, naps, dinner, bath and bed.
Day2-Woke up to E puking and with the runs. OH glorious day. Run the boys to school, pick them up from school...yadda yadda. E is feeling better by that night, and has consumed massive quantities of toast and ginger ale.
Day3-ALL kids go to school. E is much better. It's Friday night. What do we do? Nothing. I let the kids stay up late in hopes that they will let me sleep in for once on a Saturday morning.
Day4-I'm up. It's early. I didn't get to sleep in. Breakfast, TV time, lunch, play outside, play inside, naps, more playing-I'm reading, dinner, baths, movie, and bed.
Day5-Again, no sleeping in for us. We're all up and moving at 7am. B has a runny nose from all these weather changes. Hot to cold, back to HOT, then cold, then rain. By the evening B is not himself, and I lay him down in my bed, tuck the other two in, and what do I hear? "Mommmmmmy, YUCKY" I go in and yup, B puked in my bed. OK, I can handle this. Clean him up first and get him into some clean jammies, then put him in his bed. He goes right to sleep. Then proceed to strip my bed, sheets, comforter, pillowcase and pillow all go into the washing machine. B woke up sometime around 1am, and came back to my bed. No more puking, but he had a stuffy nose and a fever all night, and just did not get a good night's sleep at all. Yea, me either.
Day 6-B stayed home today since he didn't have a very good night. I let E walk A to school, so I wouldn't have to wake B up. Picked A up, and did the regular routine.
Day7-All kids back in school again. B is much better, no puking, no runny nose. It's raining. I was supposed to meet some ppl for breakfast, but due to the weather, nobody wanted to get out. So, I went shopping. Picked the boys up....did our thing.
Honestly it must be Uncle Sam's Law that says the minute your husband leaves, either you or your kids will get sick, or the car will break down.
End week one.
