days 48-53 Weekly Recap

Wow, so this week wasn't too busy. I've been busy working on my yearly DVD slide show of pictures for the family as presents, and also working on the SAH cookbook. I'm kind of tired at looking at photo shop these days :) I also designed the Christmas Card, had them printed, bought envelopes, hand addressed ALL 80 of the, bought stamps, put the return address labels on them and then stamped them and then mailed them out. WHEE

I also got some online Christmas shopping done, for my Kris Kringle, Secret Santa and Secret Sis. I now need to wrap all the presents that have been coming in the mail this past week. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm having some illicit affair with the FedEx and UPS guy.

Speaking of UPS, I received a package from Harry & David's that said OPEN IMMEDIATELY. I open it up and there is a gorgeous gift basket full of pears, ONE apple ?, two blocks of cheese, a bag of mixed nuts, some peach preserves and chocolate mint candies. I look all IN the box for a gift card.....NOTHING. So I sit and ponder for DAYS as to who would've sent me this. FINALLY when I was throwing away the box, I noticed on the OUTSIDE packing label it said who it was from.....so Thank you Grandma and Grandpa T :)

The kids have been good this week. A little cabin fever due to the extreme COLD and WET we've been experiencing here. Yuck. Tuesday we had wind chill of 30, and today its 54* out and fore casted for tomorrow is 68* and then Monday as 70* HELLO its December.

We also had our CG Yearly Ornament Exchange. Only a few of us showed up, but that's OK. We sat by the fire and drank Starbucks and chit chatted.

Last night (Friday) Ads and Mags came to visit. We had a girly sleep over (for once girls outnumbered boys) and then today we got up, ate breakfast, then went to Target-the kids had popcorn and drinks, and then I came home. Ads is coming back in a bit with LUNCH.
