This week has been hard. The boys have had cabin fever as it rained EVERYDAY, so they couldn't go out to play. I cleaned the house to get ready for the upcoming holiday. I've been doing laundry out the wazoo. Clothes are washed, but again are laying in a pile on my bedroom floor waiting to be folded/or hung up and put away. UGH. I hate folding. Really loathe it. A lot. A whole lot. ;)
So the parental units came in yesterday and we went to Kroger to pick up our Christmas Day food. We'll be having a standing rib roast, creamed cucumbers, sweet potatoes with praline topping, some sort of veggie (unknown as of now) and croissants. YUM I can't wait.
Today is was quite cold, so again, no sending them out. That's OK. Nana and the kids made cookies this morning. Cookie press cookies with red/green sprinkles. And then later made the fundraiser cookie dough cookies. Double chocolate with Reese's pieces. Mmm, those are good.
The kids are about to get jammies on and settle in to watch a movie. Maybe with popcorn, maybe not :) Hopefully they will go to bed early as I'm whooped. We cleaned the pit of despair today, better known as E's room. YIKES, enter at your own risk. Everything is back in it's place and we got rid of a bunch of things that she no longer played with. This girl has more purses and bags and things to put THINGS in, I'm ashamed. And she's a pack rat, which is no surprise considering I was just as bad as a child. Really bad. Heck almost 90% of the books on her shelf were mine-and these things date back to the early 80's....and are still in pretty darn good condition. That just shows I take care of my stuff.
So, on with the movie and popcorn(still don't know if we have any)
