Days 98-106

OK so a week has passed since i last updated....which is about right as nothing is really happening on a day to day basis so I'm thinking a weekly update would be better than a daily entry unless something spectacular happens then i will blog it.

So last week the kids had MLK jr Day off. We didn't do anything. Really we didn't do much of anything last week. I cleaned the house, did some laundry, did some grocery shopping and of course took care of the kids.

Lady(or NANA) came in on Friday night. Saturday was a respite day, so I dropped the boys off at 9. E came with us so it was a GIRLS DAY. We went to Old Chicago for lunch, then hit up the mall where E got some new clothes from Belk's and Old Navy.
Sunday we went to the museum downtown and let the kids go nuts for 2 hours in the children's section. This morning after i took the kids to school, we put together E's new bed I had gotten her at Ikea over the winter break. I have to say we pretty darn good with no electric tools. And her room looks very nice now.

Tonight we just hung out. Did dinner, no baths as they took them last night, and then bed for the kids. nothing TOO exciting.

Joe called tonight. That perked me up a bit. I probably needed to hear from him as it had been a while. It gets lonely at night when the kids go to bed and its just me. I try to fill my night by reading, or perusing sites online, or watching a movie (like i did tonight. I watched Sydney White with Amanda Bynes) Sometimes I think of something I want to say to him, and forget that he's not in the next room, but hundreds of thousands of miles away, and have to resort to email to tell him that joke that i just heard or send him the newest picture of the kids. Ah, the life i lead. Not so fun at times. I'll live though. Approximately 527,040 minutes (and yes i accounted for the leap year) until hes home for good :)
