Day 37...

Was a long day of driving. Got up early-not because we were leaving @ 9am, but because of my faithful alarm clock B. So we got up, and i finished packing the car, got the kids dressed and fed some breakfast. We then just had to wait for Tony to come since he was riding with us.

We get on the road only a few minutes past 9 (so not too far off from the projected leave time) and head out. After 2.5 or so hours we make our first stop at the ROCKET SHIP rest area. Take A to pee, and then take B for a walk to see the rocket ship. We get back on the road, and right before Birmingham we stop for food and gas. Chik fil-a and some petrol...and we're good to go. On the road again....and a few hours later I drop Tony off with Ads and fam.(happy birthday Mags.) And finally 45 minutes later, we get to our destination. So i had a belated birthday dinner of Mongolian Beef, rice and an egg roll. YUMMY. Lady made a cake-some Paula Deen version- I didn't eat any, but the others said it was good.

Finally got the kiddos to bed, and that was my day.
