So as you read from my previous post-the PSA, my morning started out just dandy. And yes, I most certainly was eating pizza for breakfast. No harm done....except maybe that extra few pounds that went straight to my thighs. Whatever.
Did my thing...kids, school, home. Talked to my mother in law, my mother, Ads and Joe. Got some flowers from Joe. I haven't opened them yet, as I'm taking them down to my parents house so we can all enjoy them, and they just don't sit here at the house for the fish to look at.
Picked the boys up, made lunch, TRIED to lay B down for a nap...but that was not a happening. Oh well. We do some artsy fartsy stuff, and the boys made a mess of tiny paper pieces on the floor, so I gave A the dust buster...BOY does he take after his father. He is loving that thing. He managed to dust bust the computer room, the living room and his bedroom. Hot damn. Maybe i should let him do that everyday.
E comes home, and the boys are STARVING for food.....not like they didn't eat lunch a mere few hours ago, with a few snacks (yogurt and fruit bars) in between. So, leftovers of pizza, and I had my spicy Asian wings that i didn't eat last night. YUMMY.
Got the kids in bed, and settled in for a good night of TV. Biggest Loser, House (guest star Steve Valentine from Crossing Jordan), and Law & Order: SVU.
After I watched my shows, I went outside to clean out the van for tomorrow. Loaded it up, and now just need to put in the toiletry bag. I now need to shower, and run the dishwasher, and then everything will be ready.
So...overall a very productive birthday. Do I feel 27? Nope. Do I look it? Sure do. Right down to the greying hair ;) which will soon be color corrected he he.
I also had a wonderful rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star sung by B earlier today. Much better than Happy Birthday to you CHA CHA CHA HOOAH that the kids always sing at parties.
Also...a little shout out to my birthday buddy Cherry. Love ya chicky, can't wait to see you in a few months....okay, make that 8.5 months
