Parent Teacher Conferences

So let's start with B....
We didn't have an official PTC since we had already had his IEP meeting back in September.
All is well and he has improved SO SO much. We set his new goals for this school year and so far so good. He is an old pro at the classroom rules, I'm sure he has to sit in the "blue" chair every once in a while, but he follows them so much more now than this time last year. Overall, I am quite happy with his progress.

A...oh what can I say about this boy. I love him. His teacher apparently does too. and thinks he is a "one of a kind" that "thinks outside the box" That is definitely A. He got an E in Math and Reading which means Exceeds grade level. He received M's in everything else meaning Meets grade level standards. Hopefully he keeps this up. He still is getting into spots of trouble during class. Most of the time it is from talking. and not just talking, but he is whispering the answers to other kids. Yikes. That's my kid, the Know It All. The "Hermione Granger" of the muggle elementary school :)

and E...the wonder child who can do no wrong. I have gotten virtually the SAME remarks about her since Kindergarten. The one that has been thrown out there EVERY TIME... "she manages her time well" OK, that trait did NOT come from me, nor did it come from her father. She received all M's (nope 3rd grade still doesn't have ACTUAL grades yet) and all 1's in conduct. E is also "a pleasure to teach, and have in class" Good thing I have one of those, because I think those boys are going to throw their teachers for a loop :)

All in all they are doing exceptionally well at this stage of the game. I am happy.
